Launched in 2016 the NHS Clinical Entrepreneur Programme (NHS CEP), is a free entrepreneurial work force development programme aimed at NHS staff and healthcare professionals.

The programme is part of the Accelerated Access Collaborative (AAC) which brings together industry, government, regulators, patients and the NHS to remove barriers and accelerate the introduction of new ground-breaking treatments and diagnostics which have the potential to transform care.

Now in it’s 8th year, this NHS initiative delivered by Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), provides a programme of learning, that supports entrepreneurial thinking and innovation.

The NHS CEP programme aims to empower healthcare staff to develop and learn. We provide a one year programme, that can fit around your work. The programme includes mentoring, events, workshops and professional development to help you achieve your goals.

From developing your skills and providing networking opportunities. to testing your innovation and industry support, we help you get the most out of your idea.

We are open to all NHS staff; from doctors to administrators; pharmacists and nurses to IT support.

Allow entrepreneurs and creative thinkers to pursue their ideas without having to leave the health service.  
Support the healthcare workforce to develop and scale their most innovative ideas for the benefit of patients, staff and the wider NHS.   
Help develop the skills, knowledge and experience needed to successfully develop and spread innovative solutions to the challenges facing the NHS.   
Provide wider benefits of economic growth through inward investment in the health, social care and life science sectors.
