NEW Chair of Healthwatch Merton: Alfredo Benedicto 

Welcome to Alfredo who is the New Chair of Healthwatch Merton. He had a long international career in Marketing, Travel and Financial Services before he retired. He has been actively involved in promoting resident voice of people in Merton; attending Merton Learning Disabilities Board, the Direct Payments Forum, Improving Healthcare Together Stakeholders Reference Group and he is currently the appointed governor on behalf of Healthwatch Merton to the St George’s University Hospitals Foundation Trust. Alfreso has been a long serving volunteer of Healthwatch Merton for the last 8 years helping to shape and guide us. I am sure you will all be welcoming of him in his new role of Chair of Healthwatch Merton.

Merton Uplift - offer Wellbeing workshops covering topics such as: Coping with Stress, Improving Sleep, Managing anger and irritability, Relaxation techniques, Building self-confidence, Understanding anxiety, Wellbeing for carers, Living well with chronic pain and many more on a weekly basis. They are free, quick and simple to access with no waiting list.
