Healthwatch Merton, along with all the other Healthwatches across South West London, have gathered insights from residents who are experiencing/experienced Post COVID syndrome (Long COVID). 

 

We received 52 responses and collectively across South West London there has been feedback from over 300 people.

Clear, understandable information is important to help you make decisions about your health and care and get the most out of services.

 

Since 2016, the Accessible Information Standard has given disabled people and people with a sensory loss the legal right to get health and social care information they can understand and communications support if they need it. But, is the standard being delivered by services and does it go far enough?

Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust - is developing a Digital Strategy for the next five years to support the ambitious five-year strategy.

 

To help shape their Digital Strategy, they want to hear from patients and local people.

A friendly, safe space to discuss and ask questions about managing financial stress, mental health and wellbeing.

Looking for an NHS dentist? The NHS website gives information about availability of NHS dental treatment. It may be possible to find a dentist within reasonable travelling distance if there isn't one accepting new patients in your immediate area.

New research shows - that many NHS trusts are not meeting their legal duty to help people with additional communication needs.

 

People who are blind, deaf or have a learning disability are increasingly being failed by health services that aren’t meeting their communication needs, new research shows.
