The Care Quality Commission (CQC) Public Engagement Strategy sets out commitment

 

Co design is a term often used at the CQC to describe their approach to engaging and involving people.  The CQC want to work with stakeholders to develop a clear description of what co design is and how it will work in the CQC.

At the AGM there will be the chance to hear about the achievements, and challenges in its first year as an Integrated Care Board as well as presenting the annual accounts and annual report.

Free Mental Health First Aid (Awareness) Training - Do you want to know more about Mental Health? Mental Health First Aid (Awareness) is a half-day Mental Health First Aid England accredited online workshop where you will learn more about common mental health issues.

 

Mental Health First Aid (Awareness) Course Dates

 

•         Thursday 28th September – 12:30pm to 5pm

•         Wednesday 4th October – 9:15am to 2pm (1-hour lunch break)

•         Tuesday 24th October – 12:30pm to 5pm

•         Thursday 16th November – 12:30pm to 5pm

•         Tuesday 12th December – 9:30am to 2:30pm (1-hour lunch break)

BREATHE melodies for Mums offers new mothers with postnatal depression (and their babies aged 0-9 months) 10 weeks of free community singing sessions (or another mother-baby activity, followed by the singing sessions)

NHS campaign launches to help recognise, treat and stop dangerous constipation in people with a learning disability.

 

Constipation can be a life–threatening issue for people with a learning disability who are at heightened risk from complications if it is left untreated. 

 

Resources have been produced to support people with a learning disability, their carers, and people who work in primary care.
